With Linhai UTVs you can choose from a variety of engines, from surprisingly reliable 400cc up to a high-performance 700cc single-cylinder or extremely efficient Perkins diesel engine with long driving range.

History of Excellence
For more than 50 years, Linhai has been designing and manufacturing quality engines, motorcycles, ATVs and other vehicles for commercial and industrial use. In 1981 Linhai successfully developed a line of motor scooters. Until 2005, Linhai established its position as the leader in Chinese recreational vehicle manufacturing with the development of its ATVs and CUVs.

1956 - Founded Linhai Machinery company for the production of small-cc internal combustion engines for general use

1965 - Linhai has developed the first domestic gasoline engine 172F, which was later improved into 175F gasoline engine, which won the National Silver medal

1986 - Linhai has developed completely localized 100cc motorcycle engine

1994 - One of the biggest milestones in the Linhai history: Linhai joint-ventured with Japan’s Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. - Jiangsu Linhai-Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. was founded for the production of motorcycles, scooters, engines and generators under the Yamaha brand. With the arrival of Yamaha's advanced technologies and japanese management has largery increased emphasis on production quality

1995 - With the opening of a new production line Linhai became one of China’s largest manufacturer of motorcycle engines

1998 - Linhai produced one millionth YL100 (1E52FM) motorcycle

1999 - Linhai obtained international quality management certification ISO 9000

2001 - Linhai started production of ATVs with 300cc liquid-cooled engines for the US market

2002 - With the increasing demand for Linhai ATVs new models Tornado 260 Tornado 300 and Stormer were launched. As the first Chinese manufacturer, Linhai develops first four-wheel drive ATV.

2003 - Cooperation with Yamaha further intensifies. Joint ventures Yamaha Motor Taizhou O.P.E. Co. Ltd. for the production of small four-stroke engines, and Jiangsu Linhai Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. are established to manufacture complete motorcycles and motorcycle engines up to 125cc under the Yamaha and Linhai brands, with Yamaha sharing 50%

2004 - Joint venture Jiangsu Lianhai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. was set up by Linhai and the partners from the United States, Italy and France for the production of ATVs and UTVs under the Linhai brand.

2005 - The value of Linhai annual export for the first time reaches 100 million US dollars

2006 - Linhai celebrates its 50th anniversary and becomes Chinese manufacturer of internal combustion engines with the longest tradition

2007 - Until September exports of gasoline engines 1P65F topped one million units, being the first product of the same model that broke this export milestone in the history of Linhai

2008 - In October, Linhai was awarded state-recognized enterprise technology center

2012 - On March 18th was ceremoniously laid the foundation stone of the new Taizhou New Energy Industrial Park with planned production of one million electric bikes, which begun production only one year later

2014 - The official distributor of ATVs Linhai for Czech and Slovak Republic becomes ASP Group Distributing company

2015 - With the increasing popularity of Linhai ATVs and UTVs on the Central European market Linhai model line up expanded to 6 models

2016 - Launch of completely new generation of ATVs Linhai - model M550
