Fermín Aldeguer Makes History with LS2’s First-Ever MotoGP Victory

The Indonesian Grand Prix marked a milestone moment for LS2, as Spanish rider Fermín Aldeguuer delivered a sensational performance to claim the brand’s first-ever MotoGP win. After finishing second in both qualifying and the Sprint race, Aldeguer dominated Sunday’s main event to take a historic victory – becoming the second-youngest rider in MotoGP history to win in the premier class.

Aldeguer showed strong pace from the very start of the weekend. He set the second-fastest time in Friday practice, comfortably advancing to Q2. On Saturday, he qualified second and repeated that position in the Sprint, leading until the final lap.

But on Sunday, there was no stopping him – Aldeguer took the lead from the start and controlled the race all the way to the checkered flag, securing a monumental triumph for LS2.

Moto2

The Moto2 race was filled with drama. Championship leader Manu González initially crossed the line in second place but was later disqualified for using non-homologated software.

Adrián Huertas impressed with a solid Top 10 finish, while Senna Agius fought his way up from the back of the field, served a long-lap penalty, and still managed to finish 12th after a remarkable comeback.

Moto3

David Muñoz continued his strong form from Japan, starting from the front row and battling for the win before a heavy crash ended his race. The incident, caused by contact with another rider, resulted in a fractured femur that will require surgery in Indonesia.

Joel Kelso, who started third, also crashed but rejoined and finished in 10th place. Dennis Foggia crossed the line 12th, followed by Ruché Moodley in 13th and Cormac Buchanan just outside the points in 16th.

A Historic Turning Point

Aldeguer’s historic win marks a turning point for LS2 – a well-deserved reward for relentless effort, skill, and technological excellence. This victory proves that LS2 and its riders belong among the world’s elite.
